    Forget safety.

Live where you fear to live.

    Destroy your reputation.

    Be notorious.

    ― Rumi

Rumi, poet and Sufi mystic, encapsulates what this semester has taught me.  To be courageous and step outside my comfort zone.  To challenge myself to be open to multiplicity rather than following a linear path.  To expansion.  To redefining who I am on the daily.

This website is an exploration of how the course Entrepreneurship and Creativity has allowed me to revisit a business idea that has the potential to welcome abundance, peace, freedom and unparalleled joy into my professional and personal life.  The idea is to start a yoga and English business which would provide a space for sharing of resources and knowledge.  The course has given me the opportunity to reopen the door to entrepreneurship, to the idea of starting a business parallel to working on my PhD.

This “paper” will unearth how the lessons learned throughout the course have allowed me to creatively reconsider/reshape/reimagine the future.  For the first time, I’m allowing myself to “dream big” and play outside the confines of what  I feel like I “should” be accomplishing.

This paper is meant to “embody” the theory- to transfer learnings from class and transform them into a seedling, a hatchling, of a business idea.

The website is split into sections:

    My individual journey (Self)

    Group creativity and collaboration (Community)

Wider community interaction and conclusions (World)

A working document between my partner and I on the inner workings of the business (To be continued…)

    Bibliography (Sources)

In sum, this project explores: How can we transform fantasy into embodied reality?
